Simple Creamy Alfredo

Ingredients:

1 Quart of heavy cream

2 tsp fresh black pepper

2 tablespoons butter

1 clove of garlic (pressed or minced)

1 cup of grated Parmesan

*Optional

Handful of spinach or steamed broccoli added with the last half of butter.

Directions:

Put a pot of salted water (no oil!) on the stove and turn to high for your pasta.

Heat half the butter in a saucepan and add the garlic, stir for a minute then add in your heavy cream and stir/whisk constantly (don’t let the butter brown). after a minute or two of stirring add in your black pepper and the last half of your butter (also any veggies) and stir for a couple more minutes.

When your pasta is done cooking do not drain it! Use a pasta spoon to move the pasta from the pot to your saucepan and mix the sauce into the pasta. Finally add in your Parmesan cheese and stir lightly.

Serve hot and fresh!
